Head of Product Development- Transaction Banking

Your new company

Our business partner is an actively growing bank that is seeking a Head of Product Development & Channels to lead the strategic direction, development, and commercialisation of our Trade Finance, Cash Management, and Digital Channel businesses in Transaction Banking.

Your new role

As a critical member of the transaction banking franchise, you will be responsible to:

• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for Trade Finance and Cash Management products, ensuring alignment with client requirements, market opportunities, and regulatory expectations.
• Lead the end-to-end product life cycle, from ideation and development through commercialisation, implementation, adoption, and continuous enhancement.
• Identify market gaps and emerging opportunities to develop innovative solutions that strengthen the bank's competitive positioning.
• Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis to anticipate industry trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
• Drive the strategy, development, and adoption of digital transaction banking channels, including e-Banking, H2H connectivity, APIs, and SWIFT.
• Enhance service quality and client experience through continuous process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
• Support strategic programmes designed to strengthen onboarding, implementation, client servicing, and engagement capabilities.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to excel in this position, you will have:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Transaction Banking, with significant expertise in Trade Finance and Cash Management.
• Demonstrated track record in product management, product development, and commercialisation within transaction banking.
• Strong knowledge of digital banking channels, including e-Banking platforms, H2H connectivity, API solutions, and SWIFT FileAct will be greatly advantageous
• Proven success in leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex strategic initiatives.
• Experience managing transaction banking operating models, including onboarding, implementation, service delivery, and client support.
• Exposure to technology-enabled banking environments and digital transformation initiatives.
• Tertiary degree coupled with proficiency in English & Chinese
