This prestigious MNC Investment Bank is looking for a Senior Tech Risk and Regulatory Specialist with experience in IT Auditing large financial institutions to join its dynamic business here in Hong Kong. Your new role

• Manage technology regulatory requests, including periodic audits and ad-hoc requests for information, in a consistent, accurate and timely manner.
• Analyze regulatory requests to determine response requirements, establish timelines, and identify the appropriate technology stakeholders to provide and approve response content.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and senior management for preparing technology-related regulatory responses to support accurate and timely submissions.
• Draft and review responses to ensure they appropriately address the regulatory request and are suitable for submission.
• Analyze technology-related regulatory requirements and coordinate gap assessments to determine the Firm's compliance position and identify required remediation actions, working with control owners, SMEs, Risk Officers, and Legal and Compliance.
• Provide advice on Technology Risk management processes, regulatory requirements, Firm policies and procedures, and relevant practices.
• Liaise with Technology, Business, Regulatory Relations, Legal and Compliance, and other internal stakeholders to coordinate Technology regulatory activities and support improvements to Technology Risk governance and processes.
• Provide Technology Senior Management, Firm Management and other key stakeholders with visibility into the status of regulatory and Technology Risk activities.
• Support risk education and awareness and provide senior management summaries as appropriate.
• Manage and deliver regional and firm-wide Technology Risk change programs.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in the financial services industry, with technology audit experience is considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to conduct independent research and assess adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple demands and changing priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across different levels of the organization and engage, influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, accurate and audience-appropriate written materials.
• Relevant industry certifications such as CISA or CISSP are desirable.
• At least seven years of relevant experience would generally be expected for the role.
• Fluent English and Mandarin
