Cloud Manager/Senior Manager

We are partnering with a leading financial institution undergoing large-scale digital and cloud transformation. As part of the technology modernisation journey, we are seeking an experienced Cloud Senior Manager to lead strategic cloud initiatives, drive architecture and governance excellence, and build high-performing cloud teams.

This is a leadership role for professionals who are passionate about leveraging cloud technologies to transform business operations, enhance resilience, and deliver innovative customer experiences.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise cloud strategies across critical business platforms.
• Drive cloud migration, modernisation, and optimisation initiatives across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Establish cloud governance, security, risk, and compliance frameworks aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Partner with senior business and technology stakeholders to develop cloud roadmaps and transformation plans.
• Manage and mentor cloud architects, engineers, and project teams.
• Oversee cloud operating models, service management, and cost optimisation initiatives.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, application, and data teams to ensure seamless cloud adoption.
• Manage vendor relationships and technology partnerships.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of IT experience, with significant exposure to cloud technologies and transformation programmes.
• Proven leadership experience managing architecture, engineering, or cloud delivery teams.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience delivering cloud migration, application modernisation, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, resilience, disaster recovery, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with DevOps, Infrastructure-as-Code, containerisation, and automation technologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging executives and business leaders.
• Experience within banking, insurance, asset management, financial services, or regulated environments is highly preferred.
