Assistant Manager, Infrastructure Delivery (1-year contract)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of Azure infrastructure initiatives, from requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, testing, production deployment, and post-implementation review.
• Design, implement, and support Azure cloud services, including networking, connectivity, identity management, monitoring platforms, and infrastructure components for business and application projects.
• Administer and optimise Azure Managed Grafana, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, dashboards, alerts, reporting, and monitoring integrations to ensure platform performance and availability.
• Provide L2/L3 operational support by troubleshooting complex incidents, conducting root-cause analysis, coordinating with internal stakeholders and vendors, and driving timely issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), technical documentation, operational procedures, implementation plans, and governance processes to enhance service reliability and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud engineering, or platform operations, preferably within a large-scale or regulated enterprise environment.
• Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Azure, including networking, virtual networks, identity and access management, RBAC, hybrid identity, and Azure PaaS services.
• Proven experience with Azure monitoring and observability tools, including Azure Managed Grafana, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, KQL, dashboards, and alert management.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, ADFS, Web Application Proxy, SAML, OAuth, application registrations, service principals, certificate management, and authentication technologies.
• Proficiency in automation and Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, ARM/Bicep, Azure CLI, PowerShell, Python, Git, and CI/CD practices; exposure to Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Fabric would be an advantage.
