Site Reliability Engineer – SRE / Data & Platform

We are looking for aSite Reliability Engineer with strong production reliability and observability experience, together withhands-on exposure to data pipelines, streaming or data platforms .

You will work in a fast-paced technology environment supporting high-performance production systems, with a focus on reliability, monitoring, automation and system performance.

1. Own and improve the reliability, availability and performance of production systems.
2. Build and enhanceobservability, monitoring, dashboards and alerting for critical services.
3. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis and drive reliability improvements.
4. Support Kubernetes/cloud-based infrastructure and production workloads.
5. Develop and maintain CI/CD and GitOps workflows.
6. Work withdata pipelines, streaming workloads or data platform infrastructure to support reliable and scalable data processing.
7. Monitor data flow, system performance and potential issues such as latency, failures, capacity constraints and data loss.
8. Develop automation and operational tools using Python or other programming/scripting languages.
9. Participate in production support and on-call activities.

1. 3–7 years of experience inSRE, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Production Engineering or a related role .
2. Strong hands-on experience withproduction systems, monitoring/observability and incident troubleshooting .
3. Must have practical exposure to data-related infrastructure , such as:
4. Data pipelines / data ingestion
5. Streaming platforms
6. ETL / ELT
7. Kafka / Kinesis or similar technologies
8. Spark / Flink or similar processing frameworks
9. Data platforms / data lakes / OLAP databases
10. Experience withKubernetes and cloud environments such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
11. Experience with CI/CD, GitOps or infrastructure automation.
12. Proficiency inPython or another programming/scripting language .
13. Good understanding of system performance, reliability and troubleshooting.
14. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
15. Hong Kong-based candidates are highly preferred.
