Your new role
Reporting to the Group MD directly
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes across APAC entities
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities
- Partner with country leaders and operational stakeholders to provide commercial insights and decision support
- Analyse business performance, profitability, revenue trends, and key financial metrics
- Deliver management reporting and presentations for regional leadership and headquarters
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, local statutory requirements, and internal controls
- Oversee balance sheet reviews, cash flow management, and working capital performance
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and shared service teams
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support finance transformation initiatives
- Lead and mentor finance team members across the region where required
- Support strategic projects including business expansion, system implementation, and M&A activities
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines
- Qualified Accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent)
- 10 years of progressive finance experience, preferably within professional services, consulting, legal, recruitment, technology services, or similar people-driven businesses
- Proven ability to manage multiple countries and cross-border stakeholders
- Advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge
- Experience with ERP systems, BI tools, and reporting platforms preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluent English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) are required
