Generative AI Engineering Lead

• Build Production-Grade Agentic AI Work hands-on with LLMs, LangGraph, LangChain and AI agents.
• Build AI solutions that will scale across business units and international markets
• Influence the AI architecture and LLM engineering standards, working closely with different teams

The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced LLM Engineering Lead to join a leading international organisation undergoing significant investment in AI and emerging technologies.
This is a hands-on technical leadership opportunity focused on designing and delivering enterprise-scale Generative AI and LLM solutions. You will play a key role in taking innovative AI use cases into production while helping shape the technical direction and engineering standards of a growing AI capability.
You will work within a collaborative technology environment alongside specialists across AI, Machine Learning, Data and Software Engineering.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of Generative AI and LLM-powered solutions
• Drive AI solutions from concept through to production
• Provide technical leadership across architecture, design and engineering
• Build scalable and reliable AI applications and services
• Establish strong engineering practices around performance, reliability and monitoring
• Work closely with technical and business stakeholders to deliver AI solutions
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities for adoption
• Help shape the organisation's longer-term AI engineering strategy

What We're Looking For

• Strong background in Software Engineering, Machine Learning or AI Engineering
• Hands-on experience delivering Generative AI or LLM solutions
• Strong programming and software engineering fundamentals
• Experience building production-grade AI applications
• Good understanding of modern LLM frameworks and AI development approaches
• Experience designing scalable systems and APIs
• Strong understanding of production engineering and monitoring
• Previous technical leadership or mentoring experience
• Comfortable taking ownership and solving complex technical problems
• Strong Chinese and English communication skills
