Private credit and special sits ( Australia coverage), VP

Seeking a Vice President to lead origination, restructuring advisory, financial modeling, underwriting, and execution of distressed debt and special situations investments across Australia and New Zealand.

1. Origination & Restructuring Advisory: Source proprietary deal flow and advise corporate clients, boards, and lenders on operational turnarounds, balance sheet restructurings, debt refinancing, and out-of-court recapitalizations.
2. Underwriting & Modeling: Lead complex financial, liquidation, and cash flow models, debt capacity analyses, and Investment Committee memos.
3. Execution & Negotiation: Drive due diligence, coordinate creditor syndicates, and lead complex negotiations on term sheets, restructuring support agreements (RSAs), intercreditor deeds, and debt-for-equity swaps.
4. Portfolio Management & Leadership: Oversee asset value realization, manage distressed portfolio companies alongside restructuring professionals, and mentor junior team members.

1. 6–9 years of experience in restructuring advisory, corporate turnaround, distressed debt, private credit, or LevFin investment banking.
2. Strong transactional track record and professional network across the ANZ restructuring and insolvency market.
3. Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and deep familiarity with local corporate insolvency and legal frameworks.
4. Tertiary degree in Finance, Economics, or Law (CA, CFA, or legal qualifications a plus).
