Senior Investment Analyst/ PM, Healthcare Equities

Location: Hong Kong or Singapore

Overview:

A global Tier 1 long-only investment platform is looking to hire a Senior Investor focused on Global Healthcare Equities. This is a P&L-generating and risk-taking investment role, where the Investor will be expected to develop differentiated views, generate actionable stock ideas, and take meaningful ownership of investment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate P&L through differentiated, high-conviction stock ideas across global healthcare equities.
• Take active investment risk and maintain accountability for the performance of stock recommendations.
• Conduct bottom-up fundamental research across a global healthcare coverage universe, with pharmaceutical expertise particularly relevant.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, earnings forecasts, valuation frameworks, and scenario analysis.
• Execute comprehensive due diligence through financial statements, management meetings, company visits, market data, and industry research.
• Collaborate closely with Portfolio Managers and investment colleagues globally.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant investment research experience with a verifiable track record of strong stock-picking performance.
• Strong knowledge of global healthcare equities, with pharmaceutical coverage highly beneficial.
• Buyside investment experience preferred; exceptional sell-side healthcare analysts with demonstrable investment judgment and stock-picking capabilities may be considered.
• Advanced financial modelling, forecasting, valuation, and fundamental company analysis skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate differentiated investment views clearly.
• Evidence of P&L generation, risk-taking ability, and accountability for investment outcomes.
