Electronic Trading Project & Business Manager — Cash Equities — VP / Executive Director Hong Kong | Permanent

BAH Partners is partnering with a leading global agency brokerage and electronic execution business to hire a VP / Executive Director in Hong Kong.

Reporting directly to the APAC COO, this trading-floor position combines electronic trading project delivery with business management and strategy. Approximately 70% of the role focuses on project management and business analysis, with the remaining 30% covering broader commercial and business-management responsibilities.

This would suit an experienced electronic trading BA or Project Manager looking to broaden their exposure to regional business leadership.

What you will do

1. Coordinate APAC cash equities electronic execution projects, including exchange connectivity, new market launches and algorithmic trading enhancements.
2. Drive strategic and regulatory initiatives across trading, technology, operations, compliance and risk.
3. Translate business requirements into clear delivery plans and coordinate implementation.
4. Support business planning, P&L analysis, management reporting and operational improvements.
5. Develop business cases and identify opportunities to improve efficiency across the execution platform.
6. Help maintain effective governance and address operational and regulatory risks.
7. Work directly with senior regional stakeholders to deliver business priorities.

What they are looking for

1. Direct experience in cash equities electronic execution is essential.
2. Strong Business Analysis and/or Project Management experience within an investment bank, agency broker or electronic trading business.
3. A practical understanding of APAC exchanges, market structure and electronic execution workflows.
4. Strong analytical skills, commercial judgement and the ability to interpret business data.
5. Experience coordinating complex initiatives across business and corporate functions.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. An interest in developing broader business-management and strategic responsibilities.
8. Prime Brokerage or Delta One experience would be advantageous.
