Hi All, I'm moving to hong kong and my son will go to HKIS in repulse bay. We can't really afford to live in repulse bay, are there other areas which would be good to live in other than stanley (not interested in living there)? We will rent, budget $70000 but need 1200sf space 3 bedrooms.

im not sure you cant rent around repulse bay. few other areas to consider is shek o or wong ngai chung as its close using repulse bay road. However you can really live anywhere as schools have a large network of buses. you can pm for more detailed information.

you should consider the PokFuLam area. It's reasonably close to the South of the island, and you can definitely get 1200sf+ for hk$70k. The area is quiet, good for kids, and has access to lots of public transportation (including MTR subway if you live near Hong Kong University station).
