Hi,

I have an online business and Im looking for some guidance on opening a retail space similar to a boutique grocery store.
If i rent a space and want to sell food related products in it like for example cereals, sweets, marinades, sauces, frozen meat and some memerobilia, is there any type of licensing or regulations i would need to fulfill prior to establishing a retail business.

Any info would be great.

Yes. Selling most types of food requires a license from the FEHD: http://www.fehd.gov.hk/english/licensing/Guide_on_Types_of_Licences_Required.html

All types of business carried in in HK need a Business Registration Certificate.
