For those lucky enough to be on an ex pat wife the days must be hard to fill at times. The husband is off at work and comes in late at night, leaving you lonely. He may be getting his with the local secretary or a wan chai woman, so do you just let it carry on, or have some fun of you own. I don't think so. A lot of expats' women are really thoughtful people. Many of them are post-graduated. They read Agatha Christies series. Their hubbies indeed very hard work. Those Wanchai pubs are going to shut down. Local secretaries as I know they are very behave. They give all their money to their parents and hopefully one day could afford to buy a small flat. They all believe their bodies are precious and respect each others. Thank you for reading.

Could be. We cannot really generalize and this may or may not happen to everyone, married to an expat or not. Thing is situation, relationship and interests vary. Some of my friends are happily married to expats.

For my own experience it can be!! I never thought that my husband will cheat on me. Indeed he did! He is a loving caring husband and Dad, never smoke or drink . Office-home, home-office. It happened during one of his frequent business trip with his Chinese colleague( 10 years younger than me) how I found out! One day he forgot his mobile phone at home and happen she send an SMS. " hi my love. Missed you last night" big Shock for me!!!
