From your situation you'll have a 50/50 chance. If DH is not allowed in US then the consulate should not give you a reason to re-apply. Base on your story the reason of the denial is lack of documents so just prepare all the required documents and re-apply. Only present the documents that they requires no extra but you can keep some supporting documents but no need to show if not ask. On the interview only answer the questions ask and nothing else no need to elaborate.
