starting company as non-hong kong resident

Hi,

I am in Hong Kong with my local girlfriend. For the time being I am on tourist visa, but have found a company which really wants to work with me. The problem is that it cannot afford to sponsor an employment visa which is why the best would be to work as a consultant. Though, it is far too expensive to apply for an investment visa. Any advises how to solve such a situation?


Doing a lot of investigations I have found out it is possible to start a company being a non-hong kong resident. This means that the company can take all payments and pay all taxes, while I only "visit" the company to take care of it. This is for sure possible starting a limited. Though, it is much cheaper and easier to start an unlimited. The problem is that I need a local partnership. I have also been told that unlimited companies is hardly issued for Non-Hong Kong residents anymore.



Questions:

Does anyone know if there are companies helping with the local partnership issue?

Is it at all possible to start an unlimited as non Hong Kong resident?

Any advices regarding my plan?
