Dependant Visa's

Hi Guys,

Me and My Wife are planning on moving to HK in the next couple of months (My Wife is a HK ID Card holder "parents where born in HK') We recently applied for our dependent visa's for myself and my son. We were planning to move around June however ive been offered a job and they want to start 1st of May.

The visa application for was received by HK Immigration Jan 30th. When do you think we will get word?

We currently live in Canada but are both british citizens.

If we don't get the visa in time... can we travel to HK and pick it up there?

minimum 4 weeks
you can travel, and if granted a visa, exit HK and return to activate visa.
