Hi,
My wife and I are planning to return to the UK in 2016. I am a UK resident as is my daughter by birth.
I need to apply for the spouse visa for my wife. I want to find the best channel to do so here in Hong Kong. I heard that even if you pay the 10,000 - 12,000 application fee, if the forms or documents are incorrect then your fee is lost.
We can apply via an agency company but the cost is double. Some suggest to do by ourselves but trying to find the best route in Hong Kong.

Make sure you don't get caught out by the financial rules now in place which if I remember correctly are basically:
1/you need a job offer and have evidence of relevant income for the last six months
or
2/you need to have had at least £62,500 in a bank for at least six months
Please check the exact details and requirements. Oh and your wife will need a TB test and an IELTS language test.
