Hi All,

Just a but of history, I was diagnosed with deviated septum and had septoplasty done in 2006. The symptoms included blocked nose, fatigue and sleep disturbances. I was later diagnosed with Sleep Apnea and used the CPAP machine till 2009 when I stopped using it as the symptoms subsided.

Now for last few months, I have block nose, thick mucus, pain and pressure in my forehead and behind my eyes, fatigue (this one is really causing trouble at my work) and sleep disturbance. the doctor I am seeing gave my antibiotics twice but that did not resolve the issue. I need some , not so expensive, ENT specialist who can look into the issue and tell me if its sinusitis etc and also deal with the sleep related issues.

Please give your recommendations.

Hi All,

I have had my Sinus CT Scan and MRI done and apparently there have a lot of infections. Dr. Van Hasselt called on phone and recommended a surgery.

I want to take second opinion and also want to check who would be the best ENT surgeon in HK to handle a complicated chronic case of sinus infection?

Hi ,
Hope you can find the best ENT in HK. I have the same issue and now using CPAP machine. Can you please let me know on the progress of your medication and the ENT (doctor) i also want to check on my problem.

btw how did you get the cpap machine? did you take a sleep test? where did you buy it

I did an sleep test at Tung Wah hospital in Wong Tai Sin. I bought the CPAP machine at CEMMA. You can refer to below links.

Try The Round Clinic in Wong Chuk Hang, they have Homeopaths there (Lisa Griffiths or Michelle Ricaille) that specialise in natural solutions to ENT issues, you never know, it may help you.
