Hong Kong Red Cross

Hong Kong Red Cross provides a first aid training programme specially designed for domestic helpers. Their programme aims at heightening the domestic helpers’ alertness in injuries and household accidents prevention as well as enabling them in providing proper first aid treatment and emergency handling.

Principle of First Aid
Bleeding & Wounds
Shock & Fainting
Choking
Asthma
Unconsciousness
Febrile Convulsion (Seizures in children)
Burns & Scalds
Skeletal Injuries
Muscle Cramp
Insect Bites & Stings
Poisoning
Household safety measures and precautions
Household accident case drill

Course Duration: 8 hours
Class Size: 16 to 24 candidates per class
Entry Requirement: Domestic helper aged 15 or above
Medium of Instruction: Cantonese, Putonghua or English
