<p>Academic / University Success Coach for 1st-Year UofT Student Face to Face in Hong Kong</p>
<p>Content: </p>
<p>We are seeking an experienced academic / university success coach to support a first-year University of Toronto student during the busy term and assessment season.</p>
<p>Requirements and focus:</p>
<p>• Help the student develop effective learning strategies, note-taking and exam preparation skills.</p>
<p>• Support with time management, planning and meeting assignment deadlines.</p>
<p>• Guidance on structuring written assignments (outlines, arguments, drafts, revision) to achieve clear, high-quality results and good grade sheets.</p>
<p>• Ability to review course expectations and help the student break large tasks into manageable steps.</p>
<p>• Familiar with North American / Canadian university standards preferred (UofT experience is a plus).</p>
<p>Session details:</p>
<p>• Location: Our home in Hong Kong (face-to-face preferred).</p>
<p>• Frequency: 1–2 times per week.</p>
<p>• Duration: 90 minutes per lesson.</p>
<p>• Rate: HKD 800–1,000 per lesson (depending on qualifications and experience).</p>
<p>• Start date: As soon as possible.</p>
<p>Tutor / coach profile:</p>
<p>• Background in higher education, learning support, academic coaching, or related field (e.g. education, psychology, or university teaching).[academiccoachingcanada]</p>
<p>• Experience coaching university or senior secondary students in study skills and academic planning.</p>
<p>• Patient, organised, and able to motivate students to follow through on plans.</p>
<p>• Able to provide a CV and brief description of relevant experience for our reference.</p>
