The CAS is an auxiliary emergency service financed by the government. It is formed by over 3,700 members from the Hong Kong community. The Service's primary duty is to augment the regular front-line emergency forces in the event of natural disasters and other emergencies. It also provides various community services such as crowd management for community activities, fire-prevention patrols in country parks, and provision of training on mountain hiking safety to the public.

Hong Kong government

The Government Flying Service (GFS) is a department of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region with an establishment of 300 civil service posts responsible for flight operations, maintenance and administration. The GFS is located at the south-western corner of the Hong Kong International Airport

Established under the Occupational Safety and Health Council Ordinance in 1988, the Council is a statutory body for promoting safety and health at work and sustaining the valuable workforce of Hong Kong. The Council's services include promoting occupational safety and health in the community; education and training; consultancy services; research and strategies development, information dissemination and facilitating exchanges between the government, employers, employees, professionals and academics. The Security Bureau is responsible for security-related policies, from the maintenance of law and order, exercising immigration and customs control, rehabilitating offenders and drug abusers, and providing emergency fire and rescue services. Our disciplined forces including the Hong Kong Police Force, the Fire Services Department, the Correctional Services Department, the Immigration Department, the Customs and Excise Department and the Government Flying Service, are professional, efficient, and committed to serving the public.
