Agency for Volunteer Service (AVS) was formally established in July 1970 in Hong Kong with the encouragement and support of the Government. AVS is dedicated to be a foremost leader in the promotion and development of sustainable volunteer service for those in need and for the well-being of Society by encouraging, mobilizing, training and facilitating individuals and groups to contribute value added volunteer services.

The American Women’s Association of Hong Kong was founded in 1956 as a non-profit, charitable organization. We are a voluntary organization of international women, supporting Hong Kong charities and schools through community service and monetary grants, while also providing educational and social activities for our members. On average, the AWA provides over HK $1.5 million annually to Hong Kong charities and educational institutions to support programs and services that benefit children, the elderly, handicapped, women and families, community activities and students.

Animals Asia is working to protect animals from cruelty throughout Asia. Our major campaign to end bear bile farming, the Moon Bear Rescue, involves the rescue of hundreds of bears from cruel bile farms. Our animal-therapy programme, Doctor Dog, operates in 11 Asian cities, including Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Chengdu in mainland China, showing that dogs are our friends, not food. Professor Paws, where registered therapy dogs visit schools, also runs in these three mainland Chinese cities, as well as in Hong Kong.

As the official social service agency of the Roman Catholic Church in Hong Kong. Caritas should ensure that its services and programmes are in line with the changing situation of Hong Kong , and constantly re-examine these services and programmes in the light of the social teachings of the Chruch and the contents of the Bishop's Pastoral Exhortation "March into the Bright Decade". Caritas should also consider ways and means to further enhance the sense of mission and commitment of its employees and its many volunteers

Child Welfare Scheme works in Nepal to empower communities to reduce poverty and improve the health, education, and opportunities of disadvantaged children and young people. CWS focuses on providing the education, protection, and vocational guidance necessary to remove the most common obstacles children and young people encounter in their journey

"Crossroads Foundation is a Hong Kong based, non-profit organisation serving global need. A charitable organization that organizes a range of activities for people with an interest in the Arts. Hong Kong AIDS Foundation was established in 1991. Prompted by the general public’s poor understanding of AIDS and common misconceptions about those living with HIV/AIDS, a group of people coming from different sectors of society who cared for the betterment of the community joined together to form Hong Kong AIDS Foundation, a non-governmental social service organization, to curb the spread of HIV/AIDS in Hong Kong. 2513 0513 Helpline / 2560 8528

Hong Kong Marrow Match Foundation is a registered charity that was set up in Hong Kong in 1991 to establish a registry of Chinese people who have volunteered as potential bone marrow donors for patients who require a bone marrow transplant but do not have a matched donor within their families.
