The Ministry of Foreign Affairs provides protection to Indonesian citizens (WNI) and Indonesian Legal Entities (BHI) abroad. Assistance is also given to Indonesian citizens and BHI who have legal problems with Representatives of Foreign Countries or International Organizations in Indonesia. The Directorate for the Protection of Indonesian Citizens and BHIs is a work unit of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs which is directly related to the problems mentioned above.
