A regional orchestra that brings together gifted, young musicians from throughout Asia for a tuition-free six weeks every summer, The first three weeks are spent in rehearsals, the last three on tour with top solo artists including in the past Yo-Yo Ma and Julian Lloyd Webber. Competition for the 100 places is strong, with 1,500 to 2,000 students between the ages of 15 and 25 from 10 locations in Asia auditioning every year.
