With the growing popularity of ice hockey in Hong Kong, the CIHL (China Ice Hockey League) was established in 2011 as the first full contact ice hockey league in Hong Kong. The CIHL consists of 4 teams, the Hong Kong Tycoons, Kowloon Warriors, South China Sharks, and Macau Aces, representing the South China region. The aim of the CIHL is to expand on the growing popularity of ice hockey in Hong Kong as well as to provide fantastic entertainment for people of all ages. The long term aim of the China Ice Hockey League is to establish a professional ice hockey league and to assist in the development of Chinese ice hockey players, in order to achieve competitiveness on a global scale. CItyplaza Ice Palace has been serving professional ice skaters, students and the public since 1982. Cityplaza Ice Palace Skating School offers multi-level ice skating courses to cater to various needs of students. Private and group lessons are available. Courses include Summer Skating Camp, Recreational Programme, Core Training Programme.

HongKong Ice Hockey Association Limited is the registered full member with International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) and the associate member of Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China. HongKong Ice Hockey Association (HKIHA), currently registered as HongKong Ice Hockey Association Limited, was established in 1980 with the aims of better management, development and promotion of ice hockey in Hong Kong. As the National Sports Association for ice hockey in Hong Kong, HKIHA’s goal is to promote both ice hockey and inline hockey in Hong Kong. We provide training and development programs to youth and adult hockey players and organize various levels of competitions for all players in accordance with the international ice hockey rules and regulations. HKIHA participates in the annual Sports Festival that is organized by the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China and subvented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD). Every year, we send youth and adult players, coaches and game officials to IIHF camps as well as Asian Development camps to help the participants better develop their skills and continue reaching higher levels of competition. HKIHA is responsible for the Hong Kong Senior Men’s National Team, the Hong Kong Women’s National Team and the Hong Kong U18 Men’s National Team, all of which currently compete in the IIHF World Championship program. Despite the limited amount of ice rinks in Hong Kong, our Hong Kong players continue to overcome the tremendous difficulties in establishing and growing the sport in Hong Kong. However, HKIHA and all the HKIHA registered clubs believe that Hong Kong has the potential to thrive in the sport of ice hockey. Our future is bright; HKIHA will continue to do its best to promote ice hockey in Hong Kong, to allow more people to have access to this sport, and to compete in the world stage.

Through the Junior Tigers, children of all ages have the opportunity to train in a positive and competitive environment that promotes learning and growth. Children benefit both physiologically and mentally from taking up sports at an early age and these benefits continue through to adulthood. We are committed to their physical, social, and character development whilst in pursuit of excellence in the sport of hockey. Coaching is provided by elite CIHL players, Hong Kong 1st and only full contact elite ice hockey league, and we continuously challenge every child to be the best person and player they can be. The Junior Tigers offers a number of training sessions, leagues (elite and house), camps and tournaments throughout the season catering to children of all ages and abilities in variety of age groups. Sky Rink is located at Dragon Centre 8/F. Sky Rink skating school offers special classes for group/organization that can be tailored made to requirements. All lessons will be charged as weekend prices during summer holiday. Course fee includes admission, rental skates, and ice fees. All information is subject to change without prior notice.
