Inline Roller Hockey In Hong Kong

Hong Kong Ice Hockey Association (HKIHA), currently registered as HongKong Ice Hockey Association Limited, was established in 1980 with the aims of better management, development and promotion of ice hockey in Hong Kong. As the National Sports Association for ice hockey in Hong Kong, HKIHA’s goal is to promote both ice hockey and inline hockey in Hong Kong. We provide training and development programs to youth and adult hockey players and organize various levels of competitions for all players in accordance with the international ice hockey rules and regulations.

The Hong Kong Inline Hockey League is sanctioned by the Hong Kong Federation of Roller Sports and is managed by Powerplay Sports & Entertainment. The Hong Kong Inline Cup and Hong Kong Inline Hockey Championships are subvented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD). Inline Hockey is one of the disciplines under the World Skate Organization (http://www.worldskate.org/) The HKIHL plays under the FIRS (Fédération Internationale de Roller Sports) rules.

Hong Kong Street Skating Group was established in July 2005. It is registered as a non-profit organization in accordance with the regulations of associations. SINGLE LINE ROLLER HOCKEY- Every Friday from 9 to 11 at the Rainbow Road single-line roller hockey arena, non-members of the club will also participate together. Attendees do not need to be fully equipped, only wheels, bats, gloves and knee pads are sufficient. At the same time, equipment rental and teaching will be provided as required.
