C.C.C. was founded in Hong Kong in 1894, when Mr. W. D. Braidwood, the Headmaster of the Victoria English School, converted a turfed piece of ground in Bonham Road near Breezy Point into a cricket field.
Any person above the age of 21 may apply to become a Member of the Club. Applications for Membership must be introduced by a Member of the Club. His/her application must also be proposed and seconded by Special Voting Members of the Club.
