Child CPR and First Aid Course for Hong Kong Parents & Helpers Know how to help your child in a health emergency It’s absolutely normal for children to experience minor injuries as they grow and explore. But as a parent, you want to be prepared to provide an immediate remedy in case of a health emergency. Our CPR and first aid course is designed particularly for new parents in Hong Kong, with additional focus on the most common injuries such as sunburn and heat exhaustion. We will also cover all general CPR and first aid techniques for infants, children, and adults. This class is conducted in English by a registered nurse/CPR instructor.

Pro-Diver Development provides CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid training using Emergency First Response (EFR) programs. EFR training focuses on building confidence in lay rescuers and increasing their willingness to respond when faced with a medical emergency. You don't have to be a diver to take an EFR course. The EFR courses are not diving related (apart from the fact that CPR and First Aid training is required from divers at certain levels). EFR courses are available to anyone with willingness to help when needed. You'll learn to follow the same steps for emergency care as medical emergency professionals and practise applying skills in a nonstressful learning environment. You'll learn the skills through a combination of knowledge development, skills development and realistic scenario practice. The courses are supported with high quality videos and manuals, but the focus in all EFR courses is very much on hands-on practice. EFR courses follow the latest guidelines set forth by International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR).

Adult Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation Course To introduce principles of Adult CPR To practise the protocol of Adult CPR

Duration This course is a stand-alone CPR and AED Course that takes about 4 hours to complete. Assessment The final assessment includes realistic scenarios involving actors and a multitude of props and the ready use of real first-aid equipment. Certification Upon successful completion of this course students will be issued with a credit card sized certificate recognised internationally. This certificate will be valid for 2 years.
