The Hong Kong Midwifery Association is the first professional midwife organization in Hong Kong. It is a non-profit organization. It was founded in 1967. It was formerly the Hong Kong Federation of Nursing and Obstetricians and was renamed the Hong Kong Midwifery Association in 1969. It currently has more than 1,000 members.
Over the years, the Association has been dedicated to training professionals in midwifery. It regularly organizes various academic lectures and seminars, and communicates with local and international academic organizations to enhance the professional level of midwifery in Hong Kong.
