Sleep related breathing disorder is a prevalent medical condition affecting up to 2 - 4% of the adult population. Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA) is the most common condition in sleep disordered breathing, it affects 4% of males and 2% of females among the middle-aged population as well as 25% of the elderly. Unfortunately, it remains largely under-diagnosed and under-treated in the community.
