The successful candidate will join the global Cloud Infrastructure team to design, build and support services and solutions to meet a wide variety of business requirements. You will be working closely with the trading, research and wider business teams to drive adoption of cloud-based services, implementing a cloud-first approach to problem solving. Cloud computing infrastructure is at the heart of QRTs IT platform, and spans across many business areas including research technology, trading tools, market execution and data processing.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Develop automation scripts to manage and maintain cloud infrastructure using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
- Monitor and optimize the performance and cost-effectiveness of cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with development teams to support the deployment and operation of applications on AWS
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve the reliability, scalability, and security of the company's cloud infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AWS infrastructure
Requirements:
- Extensive experience with AWS, including experience with EC2, S3, VPC, and other core services
- Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash)
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform)
- Experience with containers and orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker, ECS, Kubernetes)
- Experience with monitoring and performance tuning in a cloud environment
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
