Head of External Sales & Distribution (Director/ED)

Our client is a leading Chinese asset manager, looking to recruit a seasoned sales professional to lead its sales team in either Hong Kong or Singapore. The position is responsible for sales and distribution strategy for external institutional, corporate, and distribution clients outside of mainland China. The role focuses on broad client analysis, segmentation, and prioritization of sales strategies. The candidate should have a clear understanding of different fund product and service strengths

Requirements

  • Degree holder, major in business or finance-related subjects
  • 10-15 years of relevant sales management experience in asset management or other applicable financial services business line
  • Ability to lead projects and a team independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Self-driven team player 
  • Strong sense of personal accountability, diligence, initiative, and responsibility for owning issues through to resolution, self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Keen to work and able to thrive in a fast-growing business with a very broad range of asset management business lines
  • Business-level Mandarin and English
