Systems Analyst (1-year Direct Contract) - Information Technology

Responsibilities

• Perform system analysis functions
• Develop and maintain systems according to standard of the department
• Conduct ad-hoc data analysis
• Support Risk Data reporting and analysis
• Prepare and update documentation for systems
• Work with Operations staff to ensure the quality and availability of production application systems
• Responsible for building analytical and scientific solutions to help solving business issues with providing timely, accurate and actionable insights
• Assist supervisor to formulate company-wise data strategy that advocating a culture of data-driven decision-making and exploring new data initiatives for long term development
• Support data democratization in the company; dashboard development and skill transfer 
• Support the implementation of different metadata applications in Cloud platform 
• Use EWM for version control to manage projects and work with data scientists and engineers
• Build Confluence pages, data dictionaries, and metadata for technical documentation
• Implement analytical models into production by collaborating with software developers and machine learning engineers
• Utilize data visualizations to present findings and insights that can have the risk control

Requirements

• University graduate in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 years of solid experience in data analytics and/or related industries with at least 3 years in data science/ cloud platform
• Solid experience in Unix script and SQL/PLSQL Programming in Oracle DB
• Solid experience in key machine learning and big data cloud platform, e.g. Microsoft Azure ML Services & Data Warehouse, AWS SageMaker & Redshift, Google ML and BigQuery, etc
• Experience in common data science languages/toolkits, such as Python, SQL, R, Scala, Apache Spark, Keras, etc., to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets is desirable
• Experience in data architectures and in data visualization BI tools, such as Tableau, PowerBI, Cognos, etc.
• Experience in working with large-scale data sets and complex data models
• Exposure in Bank Risk Management and Data Warehouse is an added advantage
• High curiosity for data discovery
• Strong communication and presentations skills to convey complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Able to work independently with limited supervision and also work well with team
• Self-motivated and able to take initiative and multitask
