What the job involves - Prepare and oversee the Asia budget, liaise with key stakeholders, and monitor spending for each Asia office
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of financial professionals and outsourced accountants responsible for the financial reporting ensuring compliance with local GAAPs for Asia offices
- Manage external/internal audit and follow through the entire process to meet both the group's internal reporting and local statutory timelines
- Develop and implement procedures to streamline operations in enhancing business processes and ensuring proper control and compliance
- Liaise with the outsourced fund administrators on local company registry filings and matters, board resolutions and annual general meetings
- Review the statutory returns of the licensed corporations and monitor the daily liquid capital requirements; coordinate with compliance & legal team for regulatory filings/ requests
Who we are looking for - You should have started your career at a Big Four accounting firm and advanced your career in a finance role at a private equity fund or other financial institutions companies
- You must be a qualified accountant
- Full fluency in English and an Asian language
- Exceptional team player and very strong work ethic
- An ambitious and can do attitude
