About the team

Operations Planning Section is to provide operations administration and operation support within departments. Also, promote Operation and System projects in corporation with other departments or Head Office and to establish the business continuity plan to mitigate the risk to the branch under emergency situation.

Role requirements

•    Assist in enhancing Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and conducting the drills and review;
•    Arrange and hold periodical Business Continuity Management (BCM) meetings and prepare minutes;
•    Handle and study related HKMA / HKICL circulars / documentations for job execution;
•    Perform various tasks relating to BCP and operational resilience; coordinate with other departments / sections, prepare various reports to Head Office / Local Authority, review internal procedures etc;
•    Assist superiors in planning and implementing IT & Operation projects and coordinate with relevant departments / sections and Head Office;
•    Assist superiors in accomplishing the branchs overall duties & responsibilities at all times.

Essential Functions

•    BCP handling.
•    Project management related to BCP.
•    Operational support and training inside/outside the branch, whenever necessary.

•    We are looking for an individual who is a good team player, attentive to details, good communication and interpersonal skills to negotiate with stakeholders.
•    The individual should have strong analytical skills and be able to plan, prioritize and complete the tasks independently.
•    The individual should be self-motivated and hardworking with a strong sense of commitment and responsibility.

Work experience, education and skills

• Bachelors Degree holder;
• Around 5 years experience in the Banking industry;
• Possess BCP management skills, with experience in complying with regulatory requirements for operational resilience, e.g. SPM OR-1, OR-2, TM-G-2, will be an advantage;
• Possess ISO20022 related knowledge will also be a plus;
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese;
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
