Head of Corporate Risk Assets Management, Commercial Bank

A leading commercial bank is looking to hire an experienced credit risk candidate who specialized in corporate risk asset management to join their risk department as a team head. Solid experience in managing NPL and relevant legal knowledge are required. Candidate who speaks fluent Mandarin and Cantonese is preferred.

  • Supervise a team to control and manage non-performing assets and impairment loss
  • Oversee the teams compliance and adherence to the legal and regulatory requirements, the Banks corporate values and culture, internal policies and guidelines
  • Formulate debt recovery strategies and direct the team to execute
  • Recommend asset classification based on HKMA Guideline, Banks Policies and case circumstances and stage 3 provisions for non-performing assets
  • Prepare/Co-ordinate reports in relation to non-performance loan according to the Banks policies and coordinate reports of the stage 1 and 2 provisions for the Banks asset portfolios, in accordance with the Banks established policy
  • Approve debt restructuring, security enforcement, institution of legal proceedings etc. within the delegated authorization limit per grade of the role
  • Approve debt restructuring, security enforcement, institution of legal proceedings, provisions, asset classifications etc. as a member of NPL Committee
