Key Responsibilities:
- Execute single stock, electronic, and program trades as guided by Senior Traders
- Work with other business teams and external counterparts (brokers, Exchanges, Investment teams, Operations, Compliance etc) to solve investment process issues
- Work with technology to enhance trading systems and workflows
- Monitor Best execution process using TCA and other proprietary tools
- Support Asia equity traders on data collection, reporting and analysis
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market microstructure and potential impact
- Provide market information and stock specific updates to various Investment Teams
- Ensure all activities are in line with Invescos Code of Conduct principles
Work Experience / Knowledge:
- University graduate with a degree preferably in Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Math
- 1 to 3 years trading experience in the Equity markets
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Resilient, proactive self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong command of English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin are a plus but not a requirement
- Comfortable working with complex systems and processes
- A good thinker who can work under high pressure
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and some knowledge of programming preferred
- Collaborative, proactive team player that can work with different internal and external stakeholders.
