Job Description (JD) - Strategy
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the product strategy for the assigned product in the country, in collaboration with the Country Trade Product Head.
- Understand customer needs and work with the sales team to create client value propositions for different segments.
Business:
- Manage the trade product and working capital profit and loss (P&L) within the country, including pricing, cost budgeting, and asset management.
- Collaborate with the Country TB and Trade Product Head for the management of country client accounts (CAs).
- Determine standard product pricing.
- Develop a local strategy aligned with the overall Transaction Banking strategy to meet country objectives.
- Improve product performance, efficiency, and scalability through digital initiatives.
Processes:
- Support product launches, enhancements, and digitization initiatives for Trade.
- Review and enhance product offerings across the country.
- Provide product training to sales representatives and stakeholders.
- Commercialize new product capabilities and ensure successful launches.
- Understand customer needs and deliver effective trade solutions.
- Support sales in closing complex deals.
- Improve processes for better customer experience and trade revenue growth.
- Ensure timely completion of product initiatives.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate operational, credit, regulatory, and business conduct risks.
- Improve service standards and maintain superior customer service.
Governance:
- Renew country addendums (CAs) and identify risks in collaboration with stakeholders.
Regulatory & Business Conduct:
- Uphold ethical standards and comply with laws and regulations.
- Address risk, conduct, and compliance matters.
- Lead the team in achieving desired outcomes and maintaining the right environment.

Ideal Candidate:
- University graduate.
- Proficiency in Business Communication and Chinese.
- 5-10 years of relevant banking experience, preferably in corporate banking.
- Experience in trade product development and management.
- Strong credit knowledge and business analysis skills.
- Good understanding of banking systems, operations, and regulations.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Finance, Documentary Trade, and Receivable Management.
- Familiarity with Credit Insurance.
- Strong IT knowledge and project management skills.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
