Responsibilities
- Responsible for quality assurance and testing distributed software by providing support and operations team with 2nd level analysis and resolution of production issues.
- Work closely with product team and operations team for new software deployment releases according to processes.
- Excellent understanding of testing best practices (manual and automated) : You will be involved in building and enhancement for new QA manual and automated tests (UI, data and services) and able to identify where tests should be automated.
Requirements
- Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- At least 5 years experience hands on executing and building QA / testing scenarios.
- Familiar with Web / UI testing and messaging and eventâ€driven architectures †Rest / http
- Experienced in testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber.
- Knowledge of SQL / relational databases
- Scripting / Data mining: Linux Shell, Python is a plus.
- Exposure with trading system / transactional system is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving and organisational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and occasionally work under pressure.
