Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day implementation of investment strategies and policies to achieve strategic return and meet risk objectives
  • Formulate investment strategies and financing models for the long run investments
  • Conduct industry research including financial modelling and valuation, prepare reports on private equity industry trends, portfolio performance, risk analysis, capital allocation plans and other issues supporting investment literature to facilitate decision making
  • Screen investment projects, prepare analysis at various stages and be responsible for the trade execution
  • Responsible for deal execution, including drafting and negotiating of deal documentation
  • Ensure high integrity, accuracy and timeliness of investment decisions to protect the assets and ensure minimal risks and maximum contributions to the financial health of the Company
  • Ensure that the investment portfolios comply with legal, regulatory, audit and tax requirements

Requirements:

  • University degree in Economics, Finance, Investment or a related discipline, professional qualifications such as CFA, CPA and ACCA are preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of working experience in asset management, private equity, investment banking or relevant financial institutions, having INVESTMENT BANKING and PE Investment working experience are preferred. - Less experienced candidates will be considered as Investment Manager or associate
  • In-depth knowledge and extensive experience in financial investment, financial analysis and private equity funds
  • Proven track record in managing investment portfolios
  • Excellent financial, capital operation, project appraisal and investment decision-making skills
  • Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate with senior management effectively
  • High level of discipline and integrity with positive attitude and ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Good command of both written and spoken English.  Able to read and speak in Chinese is preferred
  • Comfortable with different time zone working environment and willing to travel abroad when needed
