Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze data on economic conditions that affect the Banks business (e.g., inflation, national debt);
- Prepare reports discussing economic forecasts and their impact on the industry and the organization;
- Produce economic papers to assist management in its investment decision and strategy making process;
- Provide advice on a variety of economic issues and country risk provisioning reports;
- Forecast economic and financial indicators and conduct stress test under different economic scenario.
Requirements
- Minimum of a University graduate in Economics. A master degree or above is preferred;
- Ideally 2-5 years related working experience;
- Excellent command of English and Cantonese. Ability to converse in Mandarin a positive;
- Good analytical and numerical skills;
- Self-motivated and able to work independently;
- Express ideas clearly and concisely both orally and in writing;
- Team player with effective interpersonal skills to facilitate effective working relationship with others;
- Manage projects including adhering to the project schedule, identifying problems and developing resourceful solutions.
