Senior Equity IT Business Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Front Office Project Team to develop and implement innovative solutions for trading on global equity markets and research areas.
• Engage with stakeholders from front office, middle office, and research departments to gather requirements and translate them into comprehensive documentation, including business requirement documentation and user acceptance test plans.
• Analyze business requirements and propose effective high-level solutions for implementation.
• Liaise with the development team to ensure seamless design and implementation while addressing any ambiguities in business requirements.
• Identify, report, and escalate risks and issues in processes to the project manager to ensure timely resolution.

Job Requirements:

• Hold a University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience and strong knowledge of cash equity front office trading systems, with preference given to those with experience in Fidessa.
• Familiarity with UL Bridge and Sybase is desirable.
• Demonstrate solid knowledge of equity business and flow, particularly in Asian markets, and preferably have hands-on trading support experience.
• Have a basic understanding of the Linux platform, along with proficiency in Excel and SQL.
• Possess excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese), with Mandarin and Japanese language proficiency being advantageous.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of working experience in the Investment Banking or Securities Trading industry, with exposure to business analysis and support of equity trading applications.
