Responsibilities

  • Deliver effective counterparty risk management solutions for overseas business initiatives, including cross-border TRS and synthetic prime brokerage business, maintain smooth interactions among business divisions as well as other support and control functions;
  • Review the counterparty risk related terms in the ISDA/CSA and the supporting file in the due diligence processes;
  • Assist in developing and managing OTC derivatives business policies and procedures as well as business supporting system for the front office(FO);
  • Participate in counterparty exposure limits setting and management, maintain the risk data of FO in the risk management system and deliver risk daily report;
  • Ad-hoc risk/business analyses to support management decision making.

 

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Finance, Economics or other advanced degree in a numerical discipline, FRM highly preferred;
  • Profound experience in cross-border and overseas business, derivative products, brokerage, etc.;
  • A minimum of 5 years solid, hands-on, progressive experiences in counterparty credit risk management with top banks/securities firms, preferably international banks, candidates with less experience will be considered for Associate level;
  • Familiarity with Basel framework, especially on the counterparty credit risk capital requirement modelling is a plus;
  • Able to work effectively with management and multiple business units;
  • Excellent programming skills (Python);
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
