Job Purpose:
- Support the business development of cross border team to expand the customer base
- Drive the development of strategic projects, provide daily operation support and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Assist in designing and executing cross-border value propositions
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle CNCB's customer referral needs from CNCB China Branches
- Collect and consolidate relevant referral template and document from branches
- Liaise and communicate closely with branches to promote intra-group linkage
- Introduce CNCBI's services to CNCB or relevant personnel within the group
- Prepare relevant training and communication materials as well as assist in cooperating with marketing activities in the mapped region and branches
- Make business development recommendations
- Establish a network of contacts to attract new customer referrals
- Develop, analyze and evaluate sales strategies, maintain and expand referral sources
- Work closely with RMs to recommend customers and predict the number of account openings
- Provide administrative support to the sales team to ensure a smooth customer referral and account opening process
- Proactively raise questions or concerns when adverse situations are observed to avoid risks or impact on customers
- Manage Cross-border business portfolio and alert management of business trend and proactively identify possible risks and opportunities
- Coordinate on business event and launch plan to tie in with business focus, target customers and market demand where profitable opportunities are identified.
- Bringing industry best practice and using critical thinking to challenge the status-quo and come up with break-through solutions
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to formulate plans to fulfill compliance and risk control requirement, improve efficiency and customer experience.
Requirements
- Degree holder or equivalent.
- Willing to high frequence travel
- Minimum 4 years of relevant cross-border business experience, preferably in banking.
- Familiar with regulatory environment, banking processes and operation system.
- Possess good connection and knowledge in Mainland China retail and private banking services.
- Good knowledge in bank operations and frontline sales.
- Good analytical, interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese and Cantonese. (Native in Mandarin is preferably)
