My client, a leading British hedge fund has two openings in their Hong Kong office. The first is a Finops position (full stack) working with a senior engineer in Hong Kong. In this role, you will handle all technology for the finance, treasury, and operations teams. You will be heavily involved in all pre-and post-trade systems.
Languages needed: C#, Java, and Python as you will be expected to code in all three.
In this role, you will have access to different business users (Circa 700). You will be expected to communicate and build applications from scratch to support the business users throughout.
You will have access to senior stakeholders, meaning your understanding of the English language and delivery must be exceptional.
The second role is a PM Dev Portfolio management position (full stack)
The team is made up of a senior and a junior, hence they are open to a mid-level to join the team to fill the gap. This individual must be a self-starter and have solid experience in C#, and distributed systems and preferably come from a hedge fund.
This role reports locally to senior engineers so all management is in the time zone and accessible.
You will be offering your support on the internal systems that handle each trade logged by the hedge fund.
It is an advantage if you have the following: KAFKA, FLAKE, KUBERNETES, OPEN-SOURCE TECHNOLOGY, OR DISRIBUTED SYSTEMS.
