Job Summary: Associate - Depository & Nominee Service (ETF Service) - Operations Division
Job Duties: Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and provide daily operational support including ETF creation / redemption and perform daily reconciliations
- Verify the ETF agreements, operational procedures, MIS reporting for management
- Partner with both internal and external stakeholders to support the business and to facilitate the launch of ETFs in primary and secondary markets
- Drive appropriate operational flow and system enhancement for operational efficiency and service standard
- Lead initiatives and projects for better process and market efficiency. Work closely with the team on test cases and conduct UAT to actual implementation
- Demonstrate and execute strong risk management mindset, proactively Identify exceptional cases / contingency situations and escalate to management
Job Requirements:
- University Degree, preferably in Finance / Business Administration / Accountancy / Economics or related major
- Knowledge of depository / nominees / custodial / ETF operations in Hong Kong and or Global markets
- At least 3-5 years' relevant working experiences with at least 2 years at supervisory level in well-established financial organization
- Proactive, flexible, innovative, ability to multi-tasks; excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Curiosity to look beyond face value, get to the bottom of "why" and to answer the "so what"
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua an advantage
- Familiar with MS Word, Excel, Access, and Chinese Word Processing
- Proficiency in Macros and VBA is an advantage
