Introduction: City Prospect Limited is part of a Hong Kong-based family office investing globally in a multi- asset class portfolio.  The office maintains an investment management portfolio across major asset classes involving money market and cash management products, fixed income, equities, and alternatives such as direct investments and private equities.  As an Investment Analyst, you will assist the CIO in managing the total portfolio of the family office.  Key Responsibilities: Conduct

Introduction:

City Prospect Limited is part of a Hong Kong-based family office investing globally in a multi- asset class portfolio.  The office maintains an investment management portfolio across major asset classes involving money market and cash management products, fixed income, equities, and alternatives such as direct investments and private equities.  As an Investment Analyst, you will assist the CIO in managing the total portfolio of the family office. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct secondary investment research support, including fundamental investment modeling and analysis (fixed income and equities), risk analyses, economic trends analyses, monitoring of market conditions
  • Assist in portfolio management by involvement in day-to-day investment operations, portfolio analyses as well as periodic portfolio reporting presentations
  • Engage on a variety of projects related to portfolio management and strategy developments
  • Address daily investment and portfolio requests from CIO
  • Assist with ad-hoc team projects and assignments

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years of relevant investment research or portfolio management experience (fixed income research/ advisory experience preferred)
  • Fluent in English and a good command of Chinese a must
  • Proficiency in Bloomberg, MS EXCEL (VBA a plus) and MS PowerPoint
  • Strong investment research skills – with deep understanding of fundamental analyses, financial modeling, asset allocation and strategy research
  • Independent self-motivator with high work integrity and intellectual curiosity in developing skills across various asset classes
  • Well organized team player with strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to changes and multi-task under time pressure
  • Bachelors degree holder in Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines, demonstrating a strong academic background and numeric sense.
