Job Responsibilities:

  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiencies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement changes. Be the central coordinator/Project Manager to drive these initiatives and ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory and internal control requirements
  • Assist Finance Director to deliver Finance transformation through system implementation and identifying areas for streamlining workflows. Ensure transformation outcomes adhere to internal control policies, standards, and procedures
  • Monitor and evaluate financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement. Provide technical accounting advice and financial insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Identify and assess financial risks and implement measures to mitigate them. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and procedures, and maintain strong internal controls and governance
  • Assist in contract/agreement review and assess the accounting and financial impact. Ensure the financial terms and conditions are clear and accurate, covering the best interest of the Company
  • Assist in the design and implementation of appropriate Balance Sheet control framework to monitor, measure, communicate, remediate, and prevent future defects
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis where required to assist in management decision making
  • Provide support on ad hoc projects

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA preferred)
  • Minimum of 8 years of accounting/finance experience, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in finance technology and transformation implementation projects, such as consolidation, reporting, dashboard, and analytics
  • Experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud system implementation life cycle (requirement analysis, solutions design, testing, training & Go Live) or prior Oracle Fusion Cloud consultancy experience in leading CPA firms, consultancy firms or equivalent 
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, financial control & governance and best practices
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Good inter-personal skills and communication skills, proactive and expressive, and have problem-solving mindset and willing to deep dive into complex business process and data
