Our business partner is one of the well established banks in Hong Kong that delivers quality financial services to their clients. They are currently seeking a Head of Interest Rates Trading within the Financial Markets unit.
Your new role
As the Head of Interest Rates Trading, you will play a pivotal role in managing the company's interest rate trading activities. Your responsibilities will span risk management, team leadership, and strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for the shop's P&L statements for the trading book managed and provide market information and guidance on transaction opportunities and timing. As the team lead, you will manage buy and sell orders in co-operation with the sales desk and to ensure correct ticket entry and order routing. Nonetheless, you will also assist in supervising the dealing activities to ensure compliance with the Group's and regulatory guidelines.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have at least 15+ years of relevant experience in trading activities. Team management experience will be advantageous. A tertiary degree coupled with fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese will be required.
