Job Summary: This is a greenfield development opportunity to design, build and implement the next generation derivatives platform. We are committed to modernize our infrastructure and aligning our operating model to a client-led framework. This is our key strategic project to bring innovation to market participants in trading, clearing and risk management of derivatives contracts.
Job Duties: We are looking for a dynamic and passionate individual to join Group Risk Management Systems team. You will be part of the mission critical platform development for HKEX. You will have the exposure to work closely with seasoned, enthusiastic technologist as well as business stakeholder.
Responsibilities: - Responsible for system development and project implementation activities including the business requirement analysis, resource estimation, schedule development, application development, testing and documentation.
- Design and develop systems with modern technologies.
- Collaborate with teams across IT departments.
- Investigate and resolve design defects and technical issues.
- Perform quality review for software design and code changes.
- Undertake any other assignments and projects as assigned by supervisor
Requirements: - Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or related disciplines
- 3 - 8 years' experience in software development and / or software automation testing in large / medium scale systems.
- Solid knowledge in Linux, Web application and Cloud technology.
- Strong skills of programming languages: Java, Perl, Python, SQL.
- Experience in Container development will be an advantage.
- Experience in testing and collaboration tools like Cucumber will be an advantage.
- Experience in financial industry or Mathematics like Spline model, EWMA will be an advantage.
- Good analytic mind, self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in SDLC methodology and documentation.
- Good command of both written and spoken English.
- Relevant candidates with fewer years ofexperience may be considered as Senior Systems Analyst.
